Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both lawyers. When she was just five and moved to Oxfordshire and attended the Dragon School. Emma made the decision to become an actor at age six. Over the course of several years she was in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. In the school, she was taught singing along with dancing, as well as acting. It was already her turn to perform in numerous Stagecoach performances as well as in school events by the time she turned ten.
